Attention all Travelers for the Ferry!!!! There is HEAVY construction to highway 6 south of Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula. If you are planning on catching the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin, allow extra time to reach the ferry terminal. There have been reports of travelers missing their reservations due to this road construction!

We are currently revamping our website with more updated information about our members (aka tourism partners) to better serve our tourists. Yes, it’s true, soon we will be flashy, and showcasing some of the best things our Island has to offer. But there’s a catch, before we start doing our thing, we would like to enlist your help. We would like to throw a little challenge at everyone-- who lives here, has ever been, or longs in their heart for the paradise known as Manitoulin-- to participate in a song writing contest. If you are chosen, your Manitoulin song will be uploaded to our new website. We would like to invite all musicians, young and old, country, rock, or soul. Basically anyone who has a secret passion for music to send us their song, who knows “you” might be the new voice of Manitoulin Tourism.
